Lindsay Reva Smith

Lindsay began her career in the death care industry as an apprentice funeral director, embalmer, and cremation specialist. In 2023, she began working for the administration of the historic River View Cemetery in Portland, Oregon. Lindsay believes in a progressive future of death care, where families and communities go into their journeys with resources, support, education, and tools readily available to them. She’d love to see a world where death care workers are treated fairly, families can comfortably afford meaningful services and environmentally friendly death care options are the norm. Aside from being involved with NWADEBS, Lindsay is also a volunteer on the advocacy committee for Oregon Memorial Association. In her spare time she’s an avid hiker, a mixed media artist, as well as a floral designer and member of the PNW Florist Association.
